Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please be advised, returns made outside of 30 days are ineligible for a full refund and will be denied. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, unopened, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at returns@ridezar.com. Buyers are responsible for all costs related to the return of the product, unless otherwise agreed. Instructions on how and where to send your package will be given upon acceptance of all returns. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please keep your retail packaging for a minimum of 14 days and up to the duration of your Manufacture warranty. If you dispose of the retail packaging before the recommended 14 days, we reserve the right to refuse any and all returns. This includes, but is not limited to; a product that has incurred a manufacturing fault.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the incorrect item, once delivered. We advise you refuse any delivery or collection, where the product packaging has visible damage or broken seals, otherwise you will be responsible for the cost of returning the product. We will not otherwise accept returns for a product that has been used, damaged as a result of misuse or issues outside the warranty.

Because of the nature of the item, broken parts, loose screws, cracks or wear and tear on all electric vehicles are ineligible for refunds or exchanges if the product has been used and will be subject to a surcharge for repair. Please be sure to inspect your electric ride before and after each use, ensuring it is safe for further consumption. Any issues pertaining to the components mentioned above, should be reported within 14 days of delivery. The product must be unused. We would otherwise deem any damage as a direct result of user consumption and can offer a repair. Some repairs may be subject to a surcharge, if it falls outside the scope of warranty. If you have purchased aftercare for your electric scooter, simply contact us at aftercare@ridezar.com.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
In the event that your product becomes faulty due to misuse, subject but not limited to; riding it in wet or damp conditions, accidental damage from a drop/fall, signs of misuse, improper handling, or improper storage; your warranty or return will be rendered null and void.

 

Failed Delivery

Our nominated courier will attempt delivery on three occasions. In the event of a third failed delivery attempt, the order will be returned to Ridezar. The customer will be liable for the cost of redelivery. In the event of a cancellation, the customer will be liable for the cost of returning the order to Ridezar. 

 

Wear and Tear
Consumable items are not included as part of your warranty. These include, but are not limited to; Brake Pads, Nuts and Bolts, Brake Cables, Handlebar Grips, Tyres, Inner tubes, Mudguards, Rubber Foot rest, Rubber Bungs, Removable Bells/Horns, or Paint. 

 Replacements
A replacement will only be issued in the event that the product can not be repaired. 

Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges for used products.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund has been approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 working days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Please note, it can take up to 24 hours to process a return, during which your item will be inspected by the aftercare team. The item must show no signs that it has been opened or tampering. There may also be a £10 charge in the event that the packaging is damaged, so we advise that you make sure your product is fully insured with the courier.

Invalidating your warranty
The opening, disassembly or modification of the product; with non-license or non-original parts or by a non-licensed person will invalidate your warranty.
